ABOUT THE CENTRE
We provide a safe and compassionate space for expression and discovery
Kathryn Anne Flynn
Centre Director & Registered Psychotherapist
Hello, I'm Kathryn! I believe that psychology is about understanding and improving our relationship with ourselves, others, our minds, and the world around us.
I work with you to identify goals and a responsive treatment plan. I draw from various modalities, including dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), Brainspotting, somatic body-mind practices, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This comprehensive approach helps clients navigate past experiences and present challenges.

We’re here to support you, your child, or your entire family - every step of the way
At The Wren we believe that with the right relationship, opportunity and inquiry, you can find greater ease and connection in life. All of our therapists are trauma-informed, ensuring a deep understanding and sensitivity towards each individual's experiences. Our approach is person-centered, meaning you are matched with the best therapist for your needs and sessions are tailored to your unique journey. Whether you’re seeking specific therapies - like Brainspotting, somatic work, or play therapy - or you need support identifying your therapeutic needs - we’re here to help and guide you.
“Our goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible in a therapy practice that offers dignity, creativity, and levity to your healing journey. Asking for help and sitting down with a therapist can be nerve-wracking, and the work isn’t easy - life changing work rarely is! A warm and nurturing space can go a long way in easing the difficulty and elevating the breakthroughs.”
