Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying

On parental leave as of November 2026

I’m someone who feels deeply connected to others and to the work I do. I’ve always felt that my purpose lies in helping people by listening, supporting, and meeting them where they are. I love animals and children, and I find a lot of joy in play, whether that’s through games, sports, or just sharing a good laugh. I’d describe myself as an extraverted introvert who enjoys connection but also values time to recharge. I love to learn and make space for new ideas, and I hold a steady belief that there’s always more to discover within ourselves. I try not to take life (or myself) too seriously, and I approach my work and relationships with equal parts care, curiosity, and humour.

Who do I see? Teens, youth, adults, couples and families.

What concerns do I work with? Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety/depression, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, motivational challenges, life transitions, communication breakdowns, and beyond.

If you’re interested in working together, you can book a Free Consultation or Intake session.

My Approach

A circular badge with a bird perched on a branch with a flower, and text that reads 'The Wren Centre' at the top and 'The Rapy For All Ages' at the bottom.

Hello, I'm Sebastian! I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of life experiences and the uniqueness of all individuals. I offer therapy with a solid footing in empirically supported modalities while also shaping the therapeutic path with my clients to meet their needs.

My experience as a helper began working with children in schools and supporting adults with exceptional needs. Realizing my passion for providing support to those in need of it, I am grateful for the meaning I find in my work and get to witness in my clients’ journeys.

My therapeutic approach may be described as "warm pragmatism"! I offer a trauma-informed, compassionate, and culturally-sensitive lens, while remaining goal- and solution-oriented to work toward resolutions to whatever problems are being faced.

I utilize elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), because I cater the therapeutic process to fit the needs and desires of the client, not the other way around.

My clients have described me as honest, warm, relaxed, and invested. I strive for a calm and open environment, and try not to take myself too seriously. Self exploration can at times feel (and be!) chaotic and messy, so I try to avoid rigidity wherever possible to allow for the bumps in the road to be more easily managed.

Outside of the work I do as a therapist, I love to be active through sports (primarily hockey and basketball but I'll play anything), and I'm an avid fan of games of all types including card, board, and video. I enjoy spending time in nature and love animals - I really want to know your dog’s name!
